3rd annual regional development golf classic awards gold shovels


Spring Creek Country Club near Harrisburg hosted the third annual LCEDA-MCEDA Gold Shovel Golf Classic on August 24, with the weather once again smiling on the event. Nearly 100 golfers competed for prizes and the tourney’s ceremonial first place gold shovels. The team of John Archer, Bruce Norton, Mike Archer and Spencer Halgerson took the team honors for the day.

           

 

Corporate sponsorship supports the annual event, which celebrates regional economic development in Minnehaha and Lincoln Counties. This year’s food sponsors included Midco, SDN Communications and Xcel Energy. Pin prize sponsors included the Harrisburg Economic Development Corporation, Infrastructure Design Group, Reliabank, SD Biosystems, Sioux Valley Energy and Xcel Energy.
