New staff member has focus on social media

Megan Jansick has joined the Sioux Falls Development Foundation staff as Digital Marketing Associate. Jansick, an experienced digital media professional, will reinforce the economic development message of the Development Foundation through content created specifically for social media platforms.

“Megan has the skills and digital proficiency to really ramp up our presence in the social media world,” said SFDF vice president of economic development Dean Dziedzic. “She brings enthusiasm and a unique perspective to the Sioux Falls area economic development story.”

A graduate of the University of South Dakota, Jansick has worked as a graphic designer and social media manager for in-state and national publications and projects. She is active in community programs as a track and field coach at Lincoln High School and a member of the South Dakota chapter of AIGA, the national association of graphic artists.

“The Development Foundation is a vital force in the growth of our state and this region,” Jansick said. “I’m excited to help tell that story in new ways and to capture the imaginations of a digital audience.”
