Jason M. Ball will serve as the new President/CEO of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, succeeding Evan Nolte, who served in the position for 37 years.
Ball has served as the President/CEO of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce in Hutchinson, Kansas since 2012. There he is responsible for oversight of all Chamber programs including membership engagement, economic development, public policy and the CVB. Ball is a Certified Economic Developer, holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a graduate of Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute. He was selected as one of Development Counselors International’s “40 under 40: Rising Stars in Economic Development” in 2015.
Ball will assume his new role on February 1, 2017. Nolte has agreed to postpone his retirement date to February 1 in order to ensure a smooth transition.
