Sanford breaks ground for west side clinic

The Development Foundation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 42,000 square foot Sanford medical clinic at 32nd Street and Ellis Road on March 27. The $21 million clinic will offer family medicine, OB/GYN and children’s care practices, in addition to specialized services in mammography, behavioral health and occupational medicine. Laboratory, radiology and home medical equipment will also be offered at the facility, which will open in the fall of 2018. The building will also contain a full-size Lewis Drug store and pharmacy. Sanford Health is one of the largest health systems in the nation with 43 hospitals and nearly 250 clinics in nine states and three countries. Sanford Health’s 27,000 employees, including 1,400 physicians, make it the largest employer in the Dakotas.
