Sioux Falls Development Foundation

Directions is the official newsletter of the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, a non-profit development corporation that facilitates the attraction of new businesses, the retention and expansion of existing firms, and the formation of new companies in the Sioux Falls area.  Directions is published six times a year and features new developments and announcements, accolades received from national publications, program updates, groundbreakings, and Sioux Empire Development Park happenings.

The Community Profile is the official publication of the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, and provides information on demographics, labor statistics, business and tax climate data as well as education, recreation and business services. The Sioux Falls Business Directory 2010 is a compilation of over 600 businesses categorized by major employers (100+ employees) and area manufacturers. Contact information for each company is provided as well as a description of the business, their NAICS Code, number of employees and the year they were established in Sioux Falls.

The Sioux Falls Development Foundation Annual Meeting Progress Report is a statistical and narrative summary of developments that have taken place within the community year-to-date. The report highlights activity within in the Sioux Empire Development Parks and at the South Dakota Technology Business Center, as well as major industrial, office, commercial, healthcare and quality of life developments. The report is published every year in November in conjunction with the Sioux Falls Development Foundation Annual Meeting.

The Sioux Empire Development Parks, owned and operated by the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, have been designed to provide a quality business environment. Protective covenants have been adopted to develop and protect the productive and pleasant surroundings and to enhance property values.

 The Growing Opportuities brochure provides at-a-glance facts and information on Minnehaha and Lincoln County communities. Hear first hand from people who are operating their businesses in our area, how access to infrastructure, land and employees has translated into success for their companies.

County Perspectives is the official newsletter of the Lincoln & Minnehaha County Economic Development Associations. County Perspectives is published quarterly and features news about developments and other programs going on to support businesses.

Our Annual Report provides a year end summary and a community by community snapshot of development and job growth in the previous year.
