| South Dakota Remains High Inbound Migration State | 01/16/2009 |

United Van Lines tracked shipment patterns in each state, basing the study of nearly 200,000 interstate household moves in the country during 2008. High inbound areas/states included Washington DC, North & South Carolina, Alabama, Wyoming, Nevada and Oregon. High outbound states included North Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New York and Maine.
