SDTBC becomes Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship

The South Dakota Technology Business Center (SDTBC), an organization serving emerging businesses and fostering entrepreneurship in Sioux Falls and the surrounding region, is now the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship. The new name was selected because it represents the passion of the entrepreneur and their drive to succeed, the “secret ingredient” to success, according to President Rich Naser.

Carolyn Winchell has resigned her position as Director of Investor Relations for Forward Sioux Falls after serving the community development program for the past nine years. Winchell has been the face of Forward Sioux Falls for the hundreds of regional executives who have invested in the future of our community. Chairman's Report: Committees allow board members to participate more fully

The Sioux Falls Development Foundation has one of the strongest boards of directors in our region, with representation from a wide range of industries and professions. These volunteers help to shape the future of our community through the decisions they make at board meetings. One of my goals as chairman of the board this year is to provide ways to encourage board members to be even more active in the work of the Development Foundation. To achieve that goal, our organization has revitalized our committee structure and appointed board members to serve on those groups.
