The Sioux Falls Development Foundation has sold 3.46 acres of land in Sioux Empire Development Park III for a new Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Detention and Removal Operations facility.

Kapaska named chair of Air Service Committee

David Kapaska, CEO and Regional President of Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, is the new chair of the Sioux Falls Air Service Committee. The group was formed in response to the need for improved airline connections to serve the Sioux Falls area and has been meeting for several weeks.
