Legacy Electronics relocates from California

Legacy Electronics’ chief executive officer, Jason Engle, announced his firm has chosen Canton as the site of their new manufacturing facility. The new site will permit Legacy Electronics, a San Clemente, California-based firm, to make use of a 40,000-square-foot building that provides excellent manufacturing space for current and future production and expansion. The firm established a sales/administrative office in Sioux Falls earlier this year.

Terex Bid-Well to construct new facility in Canton

The Terex Corporation’s Bid-Well concrete paving equipment business, an industry leader in the development and manufacture of versatile and specialized concrete paving machines, has announced plans to build an 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility on an eight–acre site in the Canton, SD, industrial park. The business has been located in Canton since its founding in 1961, and is proud to continue to be a major employer in Canton, according to Terex Bid-Well’s general manager, Rob Drew.
