Future Sioux Falls |
In September 2009, Forward Sioux Falls, the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, the City of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha and Lincoln counties, the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation and the Sioux Empire United Way kicked off a process to enhance economic development activities and programs in the Sioux Falls area, called Future Sioux Falls. The partners retained Market Street Services, a national economic and workforce development consulting firm based in Atlanta to facilitate the creation of a new economic strategy for our community. At the end of this months-long effort, the Sioux Falls area will have an achievable road map to guide the community’s path to short- and long-term growth.
